Mental Health Support.co.uk Promo Tour

The Mental Health Support.co.uk Promo Tour was a great success and had a really good response from all the New Horizons outreaches we visited.

Feedback

Many of our members had not heard about the mental health support website and were really interested in having a look around the site and finding out more about it.

We looked at the whole site in general and what it had to offer. Members thought the chatroom was a good way to chat to other mental health sufferers. They liked the idea and the topics of the forum. They enjoyed looking at the blog and playing Pacman!

We recruited a Virtual Volunteer to help with the website by emailing articles, suggestions and who will regularly go into the chatroom and forum.

We also identified a number of members who were interested in volunteering for the website but at present  did not have access to a PC or the internet at home, and some had never used a PC. From this we will hope to deliver classes in Basic IT skills in the new year.
