More Information: The famous and unusual rock formations are of basalt and small polygonal stacks.  This results from a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago and which now present a stunning panorama. It is a beautiful stretch of coastline that has attracted visitors for a number of years.  It harbours a wealth of local and natural history, which can be enjoyed from the cliff-paths. The Armada treasure ship Girona was wrecked in 1588 at nearby Port-na-Spaniagh

More Information: Originally a simple 17th-century farmhouse, Ardress was built in the 18th century and boasts an elegant Adam-style drawing room, as well as neo-classical plasterwork, good furniture and pictures. Farm implements and livestock can be seen in the farmyard. There is an attractive garden with woodland and riverside walks

More Information: A James Wyatt masterpiece and certainly one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the British Isles. The elegant exterior contains opulent Regency rooms with their original décor and furniture. Upstairs there is a magnificent state bedroom, refurbished in typical regency style in 1821 for George IV.
