My granddad
Granddad would always be special too me
Grey hair when I would climb his apple tree,
Never shouted, never mean, good kindness,
Even when his eyes interests went to blindness.
ALL flowers in his garden he would grow
Plants, trees how he loved that garden so,
Many hours i would spend messing up his plans,
But never hurt came from them special hands.
Reading and writing he helped me learn,
My love was all he asked for in return,
Then sadly came the day to say goodbye,
96 years he never made 100 we cry.
He was cremated on the saddest of days,
Tears fell so long my eyes could only see a haze,
Granddad was back with Gran where he belonged,
But some how i still felt this terrible wrong.
Gran and Granddad will you smile down on me,
Because without this, dreams could never be,
This love i have lost but heaven as gained.
God bless you no more would you take the blame.
i love and miss you so much.
