Mental Health Week is now over, however you can view what took place below.

Introduction

Research indicates that one in four people experience some mental ill health problems in their lives. Mental health is an issue for everyone. Events in this programme aim to tackle the stigma and prejudice surrounding mental illness and help us all to take action to improve our mental health and emotional well being.

Mental Health Act Forum Theatre (Reading The Signs performance)

6 -10 October ‘08 is RCT Mental Health Week. This year we are inviting you to a FREE theatre performance to explore the affect of compulsory detention and treatment of mental health service users on themselves, their carers, and workers.


Each performance will be followed by a workshop, when participants will have the opportunity discuss learning points from the performance and gain insight into potential impact of the new Mental Health Act.

Monday 6th October
