Non Officer Members are expected to work with their Executive Directors to develop strategy, policy and ensure sound governance. For this particular post, it is essential that applicants are a member of a Trade Union recognised by NHS Wales organisations in relation to employment matters and that they are a current employee of Cwm Taf LHB.
The role is that of a corporate board member and applicants will need to
demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of trade union matters in the LHB
and impart this in a strategic board environment. A key aspect of the role
will also include an awareness of the strategic workforce agenda of the LHB
and NHS Wales.
This post will provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to this new
organisation utilising your personal expertise and experience and providing

There will be no set or guaranteed hours, although the majority of the work will take place during evenings and the occasional weekends, other than that which is agreed by yourself and the team - giving consideration to any external commitments you may have.
You will need to have knowledge of the importance of play, particularly Open Access Play, and experience/qualifications of working with children of all ages and young people through play.
You will need to be flexible and have good organisation and communication skills.

Job Info: The residential activity centres in Port Eynon, West
Cross & Rhossili are used mainly by groups of children and
young people who visit Gower to take part in outdoor and other activities.
We pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and an integral
part of this is the high quality of the catering & cleaning.
The Domestic Assistants carry out general kitchen & cleaning duties and assist the cook to provide meals for visitors to the activity centres. You will be employed to cover staff holidays & busy periods. The post requires shift work and evening and weekend duties. This post is based at Port Eynon/Rhosilli activity centre.
